Foil stamping gives you the ultimate luxe business card: your card will be truly one of a kind. Why is that? When gold foil printing business cards, we first create a custom metal die specially for your order. This die is like a metal stamp, with a raised reverse image of your business card’s pattern. The foil for your card comes on a film and is covered with a heat-activated adhesive. To create your cards, we press the heated metal die down on the foil and onto your business card. The heat of the die activates the foil’s glue, and the pressure fuses the foil and the paper! Our expert crafters use the perfect temperature and pressure for the die to ensure the foil doesn’t blister and comes away with crisp, clean edges. Creating business cards with rose gold foil has never been easier. We have years of practice in making sure your cards come out perfect every time, with a shining metallic finish that’s sure to impress! Greet your clients and business acquaintances with beautiful custom cards that are truly top-notch.
Your first choice is the size of your business cards. Of course we offer the standard 2” x 3.5” business card, which is perfect for a more traditional clientele. This size fits in most business card holders and gives you a classic, professional look. We also have a 1.5” x 3.5” card size available, which is slightly smaller than an average business card, yet has plenty of room for all of your information! This size is a great way to show that you do things a little differently, keeping things small and unobtrusive while still intriguing clients. Or you can think outside the box with our square business cards! These square cards work extremely well for more artistic businesses, with room for a larger graphic or piece of artwork. We have a 2.5” x 2.5” version as well as a 3” x 3” version available in our online template. They stand out among the rest of the business cards in a stack—literally! We also offer custom sizing if none of these is quite what you’re looking for: your gold foil business cards printing will be exactly to your standards. Make circle cards, oval cards, or even create a die-cut business card in whatever unique shape you like!
When you plan to foil stamp, your business cards’ paper stock is a hugely important choice! When you print foil business cards, the pressure, heat, and adhesive required mean certain considerations in paper choice must be made. We offer 16pt white and black cover stocks to create a solid business card base: heavier paper stock means less foil flaking. If you’d like to go with thicker stock for even better foil application, choose our 17.5pt, 32pt, or 35pt cover paper! All of the foil stamp paper stocks offered on our online template are uncoated, leaving a pure flat finish that foil will adhere to much better than gloss. Of course, we offer custom quotes if there’s a specialty paper stock you’d like to use. But if you’re creating raised gold foil business cards, we’d especially recommend avoiding textured stocks like linen or laid. Paper stocks with surface textures tend to interfere with the foil pressing process, and may mean your foil prints will come away with less-than-clean edges.
When printing business cards with gold foil, a big decision is, of course, what foil you’ll use! Here at Gold Image Printing, we have an astounding collection of foil possibilities for you to choose from. In gold alone, we have over 10 options to choose from! Want to do silver foil business card printing? We’ve got you covered with a glut of options. With over 150 foil options in every color and sheen, including metallic, holographic, matte, and gloss, we’re sure to have what you’re looking for. You can layer foil colors as well! Offset two different colors of foil to create a stunning two-tone glimmer on your business card. If foil stamping isn’t enough, we’re also able to create custom options that combine your foil stamping choices with other effects. Embossing and debossing create raised or lowered portions of your business card, both of which can be used alongside foil stamping. Foil stamping directly over embossing isn’t recommended, as the added friction can cause the foil to wear more quickly, but combining the two in alternating patterns will really bring your business card to the next level!
