A: Offset printing is the more traditional method of printing. The printer takes your image that you want to print and makes it into a plate (think of a cut out). That plate then is coated with the ink color of your choice and then is pressed neatly onto any flat material. Bulk refers to the fact that you're ordering a large quantity of the product, in this case envelopes.

Q: Do you have different paper types for bulk offset envelopes?
A: For our bulk printed envelopes we only offer 70lb Premium White Uncoated. With that said, please reach out with a custom quote and we'll see if we can work with your paper wishes, or otherwise direct you to a more suitable envelopes printing product.

A: The most common size for a business envelope is the No. 10, with or without a window. In inches that is 9.5" x 4.125". You can get bulk offset envelopes of this size with or without a window (WIN).

Q: Do you offer custom size envelope printing?
A: Yes! Let us know what you're after with a custom quote. Feel free to consult our handy Envelope Size Chart to get more ideas. Please keep in mind that if you're interested in adding specialties, such as die cutting or foil stamping, our custom envelopes may be better suited for your needs and there may be an order minimum or different pricing. Q: How do I address an envelope?
A: Write the recipient's address in the center of the envelope like so:

Street Address (i.e., 199 Street Name)
City, State/Province, Zip Code/Postal Code

It's generally recommended you also add your own address as the return address in the upper left hand corner as well. Postage goes on the top right hand corner.

Q: How do I address bulk printed envelopes with attention?
A: Attention can be added by preceding the recipient's name with "Attn:" with the above format. If you're sending to a business, you can put the name of the business on the line under the recipient's name and above their street address.

Q: What is usually not included on bulk offset envelopes for business?
A: You can follow the above format for pretty much every element but leave out your own name in the "return address" section.

Q: How do I design my own bulk offset envelopes?
A: Head over to the “Templates” tab and find the sizing that works best for you. Download the template in one of .AI, .JPG, .PDF, or .PSD file formats. Then you can design the envelopes for business to your heart's content in your favorite editing software.
