Paper

Volunteer badges for events are a great way to differentiate between staff or volunteers, and guests. To ensure you don’t need to constantly replace torn event badges, we offer two incredibly sturdy cardstock options. 

18pt Gloss Laminated card is a gorgeous example of a versatile coated stock perfect for event badges. Its sheen will protect and enhance the sharp vibrant colors of your design, and if you need to use your event badges as event name badges, it’s great to write on.

For less shiny but equally chic event badges, 18py Cover - Velvet Laminated is a great alternative. Every bit as sharp and vibrant, your colors will look as beautiful as the cardstock feels in the hand.

Color

If you want color on both sides, our printers use incredibly high quality CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Back) ink to offer 4/4 Full Color on both sides of your event badges. If you only need printing on one side, our 4/0 Full Color is the right choice for you. Exactly the same quality printing, just one one side!

To get the perfect color can be hard. Luckily at Gold Image Printing we can help you. 1/0 Spot Pantone Colors use the Pantone Universal Color Matching System to allow users all over the world to specify the exact shade they need for their event badges.

Quantity

One or two event badges is obviously not going to cut it, but no one wants a surplus after their event, so let’s talk numbers! At Gold Image Printing we pride ourselves on working with clients both big and small. We can print as few as 25 event badges, up to as many as 100,000, for seriously large event badges, examples include music festivals, conventions, and so much more. 

While the price does fall on a per-item basis as your order size increases, even the smallest runs are very reasonably priced. 

For smaller runs up to about 500, which might be needed the next business day, our Digital Press has you covered, but if you’re looking to lower prices on large quantity orders, or us you’re looking for a coated stock for your event badges design, then our Offset Press is the right option for you. While offset printing typically takes a little longer due to complications with setting up and running our big presses, we still strive to offer the quickest delivery times possible.

Specialties

While it can be tempting to try and keep everything for your event onsite, badge printing is one thing that is best sorted out ahead of time. All it takes is a broken printer to throw everything you’ve worked so hard to organize into utter chaos. And almost worse than that? You won’t be able to take advantage of our amazing range of specialties for your event badges. Convention goers, and volunteers love to collect event badges, so if you want yours to take pride of place in someone’s collection, make it stand out! 

When it comes to event badges, our number one specialty is rounded corners. Sharp edges are all well and good, but a rounded corner really hammers home the point that you’re willing to go the extra mile. Rounded corners are also less prone to accidental bending or tearing if they’re hanging around someone’s neck all weekend.

Turnaround

We understand you want your event badge next day delivery, and we aim to offer that. For short runs, up to 1000 units, we aim to offer next business day delivery every time. If you’re looking for a larger run, of over 1000, please allow 5-7 business days for delivery. Having said this, we understand that sometimes printing is needed on an emergency timeline, and if you get in touch through the “Help” button on the lower right hand side of the page, we’ll try our best to accommodate your needs.
