Paper

While embossing is of course the key feature of embossed greeting cards, no card is complete without paper stock options that include sturdiness, elegance, and memorable texture. With our 14pt Cover - Matte you get a sturdy and versatile uncoated cover stock with nice colors and a visible texture, it is recommended to use this stock with a minimal design so as to maximize the reader's exposure to the memorable texture. 16pt Cover - Matte is the same as the former but offers more grit and durability than our 14pt matte cover. 17.5pt Cover - Eggshell Ultra White is a gorgeous textured finish that's extra sturdy and absolutely luxurious; as with all our suggested paper stocks for embossed greeting cards, it is great for writing on in pen or pencil as it is uncoated. 17pt Cover - Royal Sundance Felt Ultra White is a highly textured paper with a grainy look that adds depth, this is an amazing option which offers the perfect balance between character and quality and has a visible felt-like texture to it. 16pt Cover - Fine Finch is an affordable, super smooth and elegant cover stock that is acid-free for archival quality and timeless appeal; it also offers excellent environmental attributes. Color

Embossed custom greeting cards can be printed on in full color using the blending of our 4 primary colors cyan, magenta, yellow, and key-black (CMYK) in order to produce any color on the spectrum. This is great for getting the exact design you had in mind put directly onto the paper. It's always a disappointment when the real thing looks different from its picture, that's why we also offer pantone color matching so you can get the exact color you found. Embossing is an artistic technique whereby a pattern on paper is raised up (or put into relief for debossing) by pressing with a lot of force and heat.
