We provide the best quality for your custom see-through graphics. Let us dive into the details of perforated window vinyl.
Perforated Window and it is Material
When viewed from the outside, the perforated window vinyl roll is solid, bright, and opaque. However, perforated window vinyl is transparent; we provide the best quality for your see-through window decals. It takes some time to believe something like this without knowing how it works. So, how exactly does it work, and what material is used?
One-way perforated window vinyl is precisely what its name implies, a sheet of vinyl material with tiny holes etched into it. Sixty percent of the surface is perforated, while 40 percent is open. Printing on the white side reveals vibrant colors, while the black back makes the graphic visible, making it ideal for glass signage and other transparent surfaces. The latex ink used in our Adhesive Window Perf provides longer-lasting, scratch-resistant prints.
Perforated Window Vinyl Film
An individual vinyl sticker with perforated holes throughout the print's surface is called perforated vinyl window film. Perforated vinyl window film is a full-color vinyl sticker with low adhesive backing. While people inside buildings or vehicles can see through the perforation fully, those on the outside will only see the graphic and not the window.
Vinyl window films with perforations are highly popular among vehicles due to their unique visibility characteristics. Perforated window film could be applied to all the glass surfaces of your car while still providing you with full visibility.

Technique to Apply
You might be wondering: How to apply perforated window decals. For a quality installation of perforated vinyl window film, it is important to start with good surface preparation and continue with simple steps. Perforated window films have a few tricks and tips that will make them efficient and durable. Following is the procedure to apply the perforated window decal.
-
Clear your window of all dirt and grime.
-
Ensure that the decal is aligned correctly before laying it out on the window.
-
Using a washable marker, mark the window. You need to ensure that the perforated window decal is centered.
-
Once the adhesive side is removed, the black surface underneath will be revealed. In the case of ripped backing, you may not be removing all layers. After you remove the backing of the decal, you can see its black back.
-
Start by aligning the decal with the previously made markings and apply it to the window. The decal will be applied dry, so do not use any water on its adhesive side of the application surface. Apply decals from the center, working your way outward towards the corner, using a squeegee* or flat edge.
-
Using a razor blade, remove excess material around the edges of the perforated decal after applying it to your window.
