Size & Shape
Standard greeting card size is a great option for many different occasions, especially when combined with standard greeting card envelope sizes. To cover these needs, we're happy to offer our customers 8" x 6" (Flat) folds to 4" x 6" (Final), 10" x 7" (Flat) folds to 5" x 7" (Final), and 8.5" x 5.5" (Flat) folds to 4.25" x 5.5" (Final). A custom quote is also a great choice when you're looking to shape your card according to your company or event, which is called die cutting. Having a wine tasting? Choose our 100lb Gloss Cover to give off an instantly eye-catching impression. Add a nice sheen with 14pt or 16pt Cover Semi-Gloss, great for writing on with a ballpoint pen. Get a more textural experience with 14pt and 16pt Cover (uncoated) Matte. For an extra sturdy, textured stock, pick our 17.5pt Cover Eggshell Ultra White, great for writing on with both pen and pencil. 17pt Cover Royal Sundance Felt Ultra White offers visible felt-like textures, ideal for a minimal design. 14pt Cover Stardream Metallic Crystal White has a gorgeous solid-core color with a subtle pearlescent shimmer finish on both sides to make it stand out from any angle. Finally, 18pt Cover Soft Touch is sturdy with a soft feel and works best when not written on. Still looking for more? Pick 4/0 Full Color - Outside only if you're looking to keep the inside of your card to a more simple design, or fill up every nook and cranny of the card with color by choosing our 4/4 Full Color- Outside & Inside option!
Custom Greeting Card Ordering
Specialties
Gold Image Printing also offers a variety of finish options and specialties to add that extra pop and wow factor to each order you make of our standard greeting cards! Scoring will help with folding the card exactly how you had in mind. With a spot UV coating, you won't have to worry about scratches, tears, and fingerprints. Foil stamping and digital foil are both perfect for adding a shine to draw attention or for adding a logo. Embossing allows you to bring your text closer to the reader by pushing it forward, which is great for adding a memorable texture. White ink stands out great against a black or solid color backdrop.
With letterpressing and debossing you have more options for wowing your readers with depressions of textured writing. Edge painting and rounded corners will add more of a unique feel, as will die cutting, which lets you reshape your custom greeting cards to your exact specifications. If you're looking for a softer touch, add some velvet lamination or make the card sturdier with duplexing (ultra thick).
